The list of celebrities joining the CBD industry is growing rapidly. Ivan Moody, singer for Five Finger Death Punch, a popular metal band with multiple platinum albums, has just announced the launch of his new CBD product line.

The line is called Moody’s Medicinals and will initially offer a lemon-flavored CBD water and a peppermint flavored CBD throat spray. The peppermint spray will also be available without CBD.

Moody’s Medicinals will not contain any added sugars or “unnecessary additives.” All CBD products will be derived from hemp and contain no more than 0.3 percent THC in order to comply with regulations set in the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (the farm bill).

Moody himself uses CBD to manage anxiety, PTSD, and OCD. After trying multiple CBD products, he felt there was a consistency issue with the products available.

“I use Moody’s Medicinals because it’s real, and it works,” Ivan Moody said on his website. “It tames my anxiety before, during, and after my performances. And it comes in handy when I’m winding down from being on the road. I don’t get to eat on a normal schedule when I’m on tour, so Moody’s Medicinals helps manage my appetite when I am home.”

According to the company’s website, Moody’s Medicinals are designed to help:

Moody, who is managing a previous alcohol problem, has trouble finding reliable products that fit his lifestyle. “Being in recovery and avoiding any and all alcohol, I found myself limited to things I could use on the road, especially on tour,” Moody said. “For example, any throat sprays out there, the only options are sugar-based. But I’ve witnessed other singers’ use these products with little to no results.”

Now, with Moody’s Medicinals hitting the market, the singer and frontman is hoping to deliver the results he has experienced with CBD to others. “These products helped me, and I stand behind them,” Moody said. “I want to share that. I want Moody’s Medicinals to reach everyone. I think this could help many people who are willing to try it for two weeks or more, including veterans, and anyone experiencing anxiety.”
