PORTLAND, Ore. – Lazarus Naturals, a leader in the CBD category, announces the addition of new CBG tinctures and isolate to its line of effective and affordable CBD products. CBG (cannabigerol) is gaining popularity in the marketplace following preliminary research regarding its potential effects on inflammation, pain, nausea, anxiety and depression. The company’s new CBG products include a combination CBD:CBG Full Spectrum Tincture, a CBG Isolate Tincture, and Bulk CBG Isolate for those who want to make their own tinctures or edibles.

“We’re enthusiastic about the potential benefits that the preliminary research has already shown with CBG,” says Sequoia Price-Lazarus, CEO and founder of Lazarus Naturals. “CBG works in synergy with other cannabinoids, like CBD and CBC, to boost the beneficial effects and we are just at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to understanding all of the cannabinoids. We are excited to provide new solutions to improve our customers’ health and well-being at affordable prices.”

CBG Tinctures and Isolate

1:1 CBG:CBD Full Spectrum Tincture – This tincture has all the benefits of full-spectrum CBD, combined with CBG isolate. Research suggests that when taken in combination, CBD with CBG offers synergistic qualities that allow these cannabinoids to work better together than when they are alone, creating what is known as the entourage effect. In preliminary studies, evidence suggests CBG and CBD together may support healthy immune and digestive functions. Containing organic coconut MCT oil, 25 mg of CBG and 25 mg of CBD per 1 ml, the CBG:CBD Tincture is available in 15 ml for $24 and 60 ml for $70, and is vegan and gluten-free with no artificial flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.

CBG Isolate Tincture – The CBG Isolate Tincture is another pathway to experiencing the benefits of cannabinoids, with no THC. Containing organic coconut MCT oil, along with 50 mg of CBG per ml, the tincture is available in 15 ml for $24 and 60 ml for $70 and is vegan and gluten-free with no artificial flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.

Bulk CBG Isolate – This product is made with isolated CBG that is THC-free and is useful for anyone who wants to make their own tinctures or edibles. Containing 10 mg of CBG per gram, the isolate is available in 5 grams for $35 and 20 grams for $120, and is vegan and gluten-free with no artificial flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.

All products are available to purchase on LazarusNaturals.com.

Just like every product from Lazarus Naturals, the new CBG tinctures and isolate are third-party tested for potency, pesticides and heavy metals. All test results are available at LazarusNaturals.com by visiting the “Test Results” tab on an individual product page and looking for the batch number listed on the packaging.

CBG: The Mother of all Cannabinoids
As the precursor to other cannabinoids, CBG-A, the acidic form of CBG, breaks down to form CBG, CBD and THC when heated, which is why it’s referred to as the “mother of all cannabinoids.” Yet, CBG is considered a “minor cannabinoid” because it is one of the least prevalent cannabinoids within a single hemp plant at the time of harvest. A typical Cannabis sativa plant contains a concentration of CBG of less than one percent. CBD, on the other hand, can be found in concentrations of as high as 10 to 16 percent. This scarcity can often drive up the prices of CBG products, but Lazarus Naturals believes that CBD and CBG should be accessible to all and keeps its prices affordable.
