SEATTLE, Wash.–Washington State-based drugstore chain Bartell Drugs has started offering CBD products to customers at 41 select store locations. Consumers must be 18 or older to purchase CBD, and can choose from a full range of cannabidiol-infused products from several industry brands.

Bartell issued a media release explaining their decision to carry CBD products, which are infused with hemp oil that contains less than .03 percent THC and is non-psychoactive.

The company said, “Our team has scoured the country to find the best CBD products made in USA from the highest quality, all natural ingredients. From Shikai, Charlotte’s Web, CV Science, and many more, you can find information about each of the products on our display.”

They added that customers would be able to ask pharmacists and pharmacy staff questions about CBD and its benefits.

“Bartell’s has a long-standing history of innovation and we are committed to the natural, whole-body health of our Northwest neighbors,” the company stated. “It’s a new, big idea to feature such a wide selection of CBD products, but we’re proud to be on the forefront of natural medicine. We’re excited to show you what we’ve learned.”

CBD products including capsules, topicals, oils, and various other formulations will be kept in a locked display case at each location. A photo posted by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer showed a prominent, enclosed end-cap display featuring CBD at Bartell’s location in Burien, WA.

“We have received positive responses from our customers. Bartells believes in choice. After extensive research, it has been proven that many people find these products beneficial and we want to be able to offer them the choice,” Communications Manager for Bartell Drugs Hannah Kubiak told the Seattle PI.

Bartell Drugs is a family-owned local business founded in 1890, and has more than 65 stores located in the Puget Sound region.
