OAKLAND, Calif. – Bloom Farms, one of California’s leading manufacturers and distributors of traditional cannabis products, has launched a CBD line. The products, comprising hemp-derived, USDA-certified organic, full-spectrum oil, are available in 45 states nationwide.

Bloom Farms CBD is extracted using a proprietary process that preserves the original terpene and cannabinoid profile of the source plants. The hemp is grown biodynamically in healthy soil on a farm that employs zero-waste cultivation techniques and tests at less than 0.3-percent THC.

“CBD is the hot ingredient of the moment, but consumers need to understand that not all CBD is created equal,” said Sallyann Parker Nichols, president of Bloom Farms CBD, a division of the parent company. “Bloom Farms is committed to quality and purity because we believe clean CBD with a naturally complete terpene profile is what will help people realize the many benefits they expect from CBD.  Consumers will be hard-pressed to find a CBD like this anywhere else.”

In addition to pure, clean products, Bloom Farms is known for social responsibility and community involvement. All the company’s products originate on responsibly run farms, and Bloom Farms contributes resources to supporting the communities in which it operates. In 2015, the company implemented a 1-for-1 meal program that donates one meal to a California or Nevada food bank for each sales of a Bloom Farms product. To date, the program has provided nearly 1.5 million meals.

The company’s first CBD products include Balance and Relief tinctures, which contain 300mg and 600mg of cannabidiol, respectively. The line is available at BloomFarmsCBD.com and is expected to be available at high-end retailers, health clubs, medical offices, and other outlets soon, according to a company statement. New delivery methods including balms, gelcaps, and vapes are in development.
